MONETARY GIVING

Monetary Gifts are gifts of financial support that will assist the Symphony with on-going artistic expenses. Any amount is welcome, and we treat every gift with the respect it deserves. Tax receipts will be issued to the donor for the amount given.

SPECIAL OCCASION GIFTS

Take the guess work out of shopping for the “person-who-has-everything” on your list. Celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions with a gift “made” by you on behalf of that special person. The Symphony will provide a beautiful card which you can present to that special person, and their name will be honoured in our programme and other publications. And because your gift affects the Symphony as well, with this one donation you give twice. Tax receipts are issued to the individual bestowing the gift.

GIFTS IN MEMORY OR HONOUR

This gift is a unique way of recognizing someone near to your heart. A gift may be made either in their memory or simply to honour the role that they play in your life. Tax receipts will be issued to the donor for the amount given.

PLANNED GIVING

There exist several ways to ensure continued support for your symphony, including bequests made in your will: gifts in kind (real estate, securities, certified cultural property, trust funds, foundations, and life insurance). If named as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, the Symphony will provide you with an annual tax receipt in the amount of the annual premium that you are paying. Please let us know if you wish to become involved in “Planned Giving” so that we may properly acknowledge your kindness within our program book.
